We’ve been a little quiet on our blog lately, but we’ve been busy and we’re excited to announce the launch of our new SeenOnTV Express Canada store.  As Seen On TV Canada brings some of our most popular products together in one place for the convenience of our Canadian customers.  Hot products like P90X, the Instyler, the Ab Flyer, and UltraRez V 1000 are only a few of the offerings available, and our selection of available products is continuing to grow.

While we’ve had some products available for Canadian customers in the past, you can now easily find a list of Seen On TV items available in Canada by visiting canada.seenontvexpress.com.  In addition, our product pages now clearly show whether a product is available in Canada, and our search results and category lists also identify products that are available in Canada.

P90X and Insanity have just been added to our product line-up, and we have more BeachBody products coming soon.  P90X and Insanity are some extremely intense home exercise programs.  I should know – I’ve done them both (actually, just about to finish up the Insanity program this week).

They are tough, but if you really want results you’ve got to work at it.  I struggled a lot through both of the programs.  With Insanity, even after 2 months, the warmup still feels  like a pretty good workout, and I am absolutely wiped out and sweating like a horse after the complete workout.  And while I can’t speak for everyone, I’ve have been extremely pleased with my results on these 2 programs.

P90X is geared more toward building strength, while Insanity is to build cardio endurance and help you tone.  I didn’t stick to the diet very well (the programs come with a very detailed diet plan in addition to the exercise), or I would probably have had phenominal results, but here’s what I did experience:

• Lost 20lbs
• Went from a size 40 waist to a 36
• Went from doing 2 pullups to 15 (plus more curls, pushup, situps, increased resistance, etc)
• More definition in chest, biceps, triceps
• Better abs (still have a little bulge to get rid of right in the middle, but I can see abs and obliques now with some definition)

I did lay off the soft drinks quite a bit – still have 1 or 2 a week, so I am sure that helped as well.

Both P90X and Insanity are great programs, but you really do have to be determined and committed to get through them.  I’ll wrap up Insanity in a few days, take a little break for the Holidays, and get started again in the New Year.

Just added the YuDu Table Top Screen Printing System from Provocraft to our product lineup.  Looks like this could be a lot of fun and useful as well.  My Dad and I purchased some screen printing stuff when I was a kid and had a great time with it, but it was a lot of work – the YuDu system appears to be much simpler and compact than what we had to work with.

The only issue I saw was that it seems like it won’t be very well suited to making multi-colored screen prints – at least where you need colors close to each other.  The video did show taping off sections of the screen so you can do blocks of color, or mixing colors, but not any real multicolor prints.  That was a limitation with what my Dad and I did as well.  You probably need a pretty good commercial system to do something like that.

We’ve just added 2 new pieces of exercise equipment to our listings – the BodiPro and BodiRocker. I believe both of these were released during the summer, but are now starting to get more media time.

The BodiRocker puts a twist on push-ups, literally. The BodiPro appears to offer more of a full body workout in a fairly compact piece of equipment. I expect these will be fairly successful products, especially when the new year rolls around – which is a very hot selling period for fitness equipment for obvious reasons. Other fitness products that have been selling well lately include the Ab Circle, Contour Abs, ISO7X and the Slendertone Ab Belt.

The BackYard Buddy marketer has run out of inventory, so we have been notified to direct our traffic to the PetZoom Pet Park.  The indoor dog potty synthetic grass mats are essentially the same – only real difference is the free bonus item.

If you haven’t seen the infomercial for this one, the narrated talking dog is just a bit odd – almost makes it hard to take the product seriously. But really, it’s a great idea at an affordable price. I remember as a kid hating to clean out the wet newspapers when we kept our dog in the garage. These indoor dog potty patch products have got to be better than that.
